  • What do I wear? Women: Leggins/shorts/gym bras/tops. Men: Shorts/ tops or shirtless
  • Water - Ensure you have a water bottle to hand. Sip don't gulp.
  • What if I get dizzy? Getting dizzy in the hot room can be really normal if you're a little dehydrated, tired, have low blood pressure or new to the heat. Take a knee, don't panic, wait for it to pass, and join back in when you're ready! We ask you try your best to stay in the room, even if you have to sit for the whole practise, walking out of the hot room when you are dizzy is not advised.
  • What type of heat is the hot room? We have four infrared heaters alongside a humidifier, and two booster heaters. The temperature of the room goes between 35 degrees - 38/39 degrees. If you stand directly under the heaters, you will experience a more intense practise.
  • What ventilation is in the hot room? We have trickle vents located in the studio, plus windows which are opened a jar to allow new air in without comprising the heat.
  • Do not touch the heaters! The heaters are located in the centre of our studio, above your heads. If you are above 5ft11, please do not stand directly under the heaters.
  • During the colder months, we advise you bring a dry pair of clothes to change into before you head outside.
  • We do not have showers! We have 3 toilets to change into and provide a lovely free cold towel service for you to mop down with if you are changing/ moving on!

Bring grip socks! Grip socks are available to purchase at reception for £12.99.

You can not partake in Reformer Pilates without grip socks for safety reasons.

Barefeet are not allowed due to preserving the hygiene of our cotton straps.

Along Gibbon Road there are a number of metal railings where you can padlock your bike. We advise you have a high security lock to ensure the safety of your bike. We ask you do not bring your bike into reception:

1. there is not lots of space

2. to keep the area as clean as possible due our no shoes policy.

If you are traveling with an extremely expensive bike, eg. fold up bikes, we ask that you ring ahead before arrival and we will do our best to accommodate bike placement in reception.
